Set Screen Colors (Alternate Terminal)
This help window is for users running the Alternate Terminal user interface.
Users who are not running the Alternate Terminal user interface
have a different window for setting colors.

Foreground

Allows you to change the color of the text.

Background

Allows you to change the color of the background.

Protected fields
-
Allows you to select the type of protected field
whose foreground color or background color you want to change.

Unprotected fields
-
Allows you to select the type of unprotected field
whose foreground color or background color you want to change.

Basic Colors
-
Allows you to select a color from the array of predefined colors.
The new color appears in
the currently selected protected or unprotected field.

Define Custom Color

Allows you to define a custom color.
The new color appears in
the currently selected protected or unprotected field.

Add to Custom Colors

After you have defined a new color using the Define Custom Color sliders, click this button to add the new color to the Custom Color boxes.

Custom Colors

After you have clicked Add to Custom Colors,
click a Custom Color rectangle to store the custom color.
The custom color appears in the selected rectangle.

Defaults
-
Sets the foreground and background colors to the default settings
for the currently selected protected or unprotected field.
